Rashid Latif Against Babar Azam Captaincy

Rashid Latif criticized Babar Azam's captaincy, stating that Babar became very weak as a captain after the ODI World Cup 2023, when Shaheen Shah Afridi was made the team captain.

Rashid Latif further remarked that removing Shaheen and reinstating Babar Azam as captain was a wrong decision, which disrupted the team environment and became a reason for the poor performance in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Rashid Latif said that if Babar Azam continues as captain now, it would be an even bigger mistake.
